PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an announcing system of an elevator for easily changing a program so that mutual announcements do not overlap in time without becoming complicated, even when changing the announcement reproducing time length by a content change in the announcements. SOLUTION: This system makes the announcement by enabling an announcing device to select and reproduce voice data stored in an announcing device data table on the basis of an announcement making command, by transmitting the announcement making command to the announcing device from a control board controlling operation of a car. The announcement making command includes information indicating selection of the voice data corresponding to the announcement and at least any one of the reproducing timing and a reproducing speed of the announcement by reproduction of the voice data so that the mutual announcements do not overlap in time.
