PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the cost reduction of a vacuum packaging apparatus and the simplification of packaging work. SOLUTION: The vacuum packaging apparatus has a property of airtightness on a base 11 for mounting an article 50 and used to carry out the vacuum sealing of an article in a bag by fixedly forming a suction opening and a bag 12 having an opening which can be closed air-tightly, by mounting the article 50 in the bag, by covering the article with the bag 12, by blocking the opening of the bag air-tightly and by sucking air in the bag from the suction opening.
