PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file, which is so constituted as to be difficult for a reader to remove papers. SOLUTION: In a file equipped with a file body 2 and a binder 3 provided on the file body 2 under the condition that the binder 3 is so constituted as to be able to shift from a bound-in state to an open state, under which the papers can be inserted or removed, by using an operating physical force applied to a manually operating part 512, an operation limiting member 7 for limiting the motion of the manually operating part 512 is provided on the binder 3.
