HOLLOW FAN BLADE OF GAS TURBINE ENGINE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ITS HALF-SPLIT BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase resistance property to buckling and durability without increasing thickness of a wall of a hollow fan blade. SOLUTION: This hollow fan blade 30 is provided with a half-split body 30a having either of a positive pressure face side wall and a negative pressure face side wall and a half-split body 30b having the other of them. A wall segment 48 extending between a pair of adjacent ribs 42 is formed like a straight line without a curve. Adjacent wall segments 48 are extended at an angle at which they are not parallel for each other so as to follow a blade shape of the hollow fan blade 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
