The piping element (1) for an internal pipework of heating technology components has the clear outside diameter of a corrugated additional pipe section (5,6) basically corresponding to the outside diameter of a smooth-walled section (2,4). The piping element has a corrugated transition region (9-12) between the smooth-walled section with a first diameter, and the additional pipe section with a second clear diameter which is smaller in comparison to it. The radially inner corrugation troughs (8) lie upon an approximately funnel-shaped generated surface (13).
