<p>Method for operating a fuel injection valve of a vehicle having a piezoelectric actuator comprises charging/discharging the actuator to a second voltage at the beginning of the control process which is larger than a first voltage before the actuator is charged/discharged from the second voltage to the first voltage. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Computer program for carrying out the above process; (2) Electronic memory for the above computer program; and (3) Control device for a vehicle. Preferred Features: The actuator is charged/discharged to the first voltage as soon as the second voltage is reached. The second voltage is selected depending on the first voltage.</p> |
