<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the characteristics of a motor at the start of the motor in accordance with necessity. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 101 in a driving mechanism 100 reads out a start profile corresponding to a start mode from a ROM 102. Then, the CPU 101 supplies a limit signal to a motor driver 106 in accordance with the read start profile. The motor driver 106 specifies the limit value (upper limit value) of a current from the received limit signal and supplies a current according to the limit value to a motor 107.
