<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display, a fabricating method thereof, a fabricating apparatus thereof, a picture quality controlling method, and a picture quality controlling apparatus for reducing a recognizing degree of a defective pixel and electrically compensating a charging characteristics of the defective pixel. <P>SOLUTION: The flat panel display comprises: a display panel which has a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines that cross each other, in which a plurality of pixels are arranged, and which has a link pixel where the defective pixel is electrically connected to a normal pixel provided adjacent to it; a memory where location data indicating the location of the link pixel and compensation data for compensating charging characteristics of the link pixel; and a compensating circuit which modulates digital video data to be displayed at the link pixel on the basis of the location data and compensation data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
