<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed material volume-reducing machine made small-sized. <P>SOLUTION: This styrene foam volume-reducing machine 10 is equipped with a crushing part 14 for crushing a styrene foam material S to form crushed pieces T and a screw type conveyor part 16 for sending out the crushed pieces T sent in from the crushing part 14. A rotary cutter part 40, constituted so that a plurality of rotary blades 38 are attached to a rotary shaft 42, is horizontally provided in the crushing part 14. A first screw conveyor 44 is provided along the rotary shaft 42 in the vicinity of the rotary cutter part 40 and a second screw conveyor 46 is provided in the vicinity of the first screw conveyor 44 along the first screw conveyor 44.
