PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing occurrence of crosstalk between sub-pixels while keeping the numerical aperture of pixels sufficiently high. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display of the present invention is characterized in that each pixel electrode has two sub-pixel electrodes which are arranged side by side in a column direction. Further, a data line passing each pixel includes a first portion which is adjacent to a first sub-pixel electrode and a second portion which is adjacent to a second sub-pixel portion. The first portion and second portion are at different positions in a row direction. Consequently, the data line is bent once halfway in each pixel. The first portion does not overlap the first sub-pixel electrode. The second portion overlaps the second sub-pixel electrode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
