PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting tool for surely mounting a member such as harness on a substrate. SOLUTION: The member mounting tool is configured in a way that a wire 16 is mounted on a clip 1 fitted to a clip mounting hole 21 of a substrate 20, and the member is tightly fixed onto the substrate 20 by the wire 16. At that time, a diameter enlargement 17 is provided at a tip end of the wire 16 such that a pair of left and right engagement pieces of the clip 1 are prevented from being compressed by the diameter enlargement 17 to restrain the clip 1 from coming off from the clip mounting hole 21 of the substrate 20.
