摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work transfer apparatus which keeps a work transfer passage in a heater rail, through which passage a work is transferred, while being heated, in a nonoxidizing atmosphere efficiently and in a functionally advantageous manner. SOLUTION: According to the work transfer apparatus, the work (lead frame) 1 is transferred through the work transfer passage 32 in the heater rail 30, and solder supply work, etc., are carried out on the work 1 through a work opening 35 formed on an upper rail 30b. An oxidization preventing gas is supplied from a first gas supply passage 41, formed on a lower rail 30a, to a second gas supply passage 42 formed on the upper rail 30b, and is sent out from gas blowout exits 43 directly down to the work transfer passage 32, which blowout holes 43 are formed on both the front and the back sides of the work opening 35 in the work transfer direction under the upper rail 30b.
