PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt joint with a clamp part shortened without lowering its strength. SOLUTION: The toothed belt joint 1 is provided for connecting a linear toothed belt 2 at both ends in the state of being in a looped shape so that its connection portions have reciprocating motion between toothed pulleys. It comprises a first toothed belt joint 4 having the same toothed shape as the toothed belt 2 and engaging with one end of the toothed belt 2, and a second toothed belt joint 6 having the same toothed shape as the toothed belt 2 and engaging with the other end of the toothed belt 2. The first toothed belt joint 4 and the second toothed belt joint 6 are layered on the toothed belt 2 in the state of engaging therewith. A clamping means clamps the toothed belt 2 and the toothed belt joint 1 layered thereon at its back face side and at its tooth side, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
