PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter, such as a riding type rice transplanter, which has preliminary seedling-loading tables for continuously supplying preliminary seedling from furrow side on the machine frame side portions, and facilitates to get on or off the tranplanter. SOLUTION: This transplanter is characterized by constituting the posture state of preliminary seedling-loading tables changeable into a longitudinally parallel posture state where a first seedling table is positioned by projecting from the front end of a travel machine frame in the front of a fixed seedling table, and a second seedling table is positioned at the side of a step forming the floor of the driving section and a driver's seat behind the fixed seedling table, and a vertically parallel posture state where the first seedling table and the second seedling table are placed in a vertical direction to the fixed seedling table fixedly disposed in front of the driver's seat. Alternatively, the transplanter is equipped with turnable fulcrum points at the front and rear ends of the fixed seedling table, and the first seedling table is supported rearward rotatable to the fixed seedling table and the second seedling table is supported forward rotatable to the fixed seedling table in the longitudinal parallel posture state.
