The device has a spring unit by which transmission of pivoting of transmission actuating lever to a side piece takes place in such a manner that the lever swings from an original position corresponding to an opened door to an end position corresponding to a closed door through contacting of edge during closing of the door in a plane of a door leaf (3). The side piece swings from a position, which lies at a lower side of the door leaf to a position, which closes a joint clearance between the door leaf and a ground floor (4).
