The device has a sealing seat (48) which is arranged on a side of an operating unit (26). A force input unit (20) is mechanically decoupled from a control valve mechanism (22) that is operated by the operating unit, in a normal operating mode. The force input unit is coupled with the mechanism during the failure of the operating unit, in an emergency operating mode, based on the shifting in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
