The central console (16) located between the passenger seat (14) and the drivers seat (12) is fitted with a vertical column (26). Two horizontal bars (22,24) are swivel mounted to the column (26) with their rear ends end positioned above one another. Each of the bars (22,24) has a ring (28,29) with an inner foam rubber lining at its front end suitable for being used as a drink holder. Both bars (22,24) can be simultaneously and independently moved towards the driver, the passenger respectively. The ring (28,29) can also be slid along the bar (22,24) in order to avoid an awkward positioning.
