An insulator for a vehicle is provided to effectively insulate vibration with an oscillation source due to an explosion of an engine in a mounting bush of a TM mounting insulator. An insulator for a vehicle includes a lower bracket(4), a mounting bush(5), and an upper bracket(6). The lower bracket is fixed to a TM center member. Bending portions(3) inclined upwardly are provided at both ends of the lower bracket. The mounting bush is provided on the upper surface of the bending portion of the lower bracket. The upper bracket is provided on the upper surface of the mounting bush. The upper bracket is supported by interposing the mounting bush between the lower bracket and the upper bracket. Both ends of the lower bracket extend from the bending portions by a predetermined inclination. An extending portion(7) is bolted to the TM center member so that both surfaces of the lower bracket forms a closed cross-section.
