<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RFID (radio-frequency ID) device which contains a substantially-flat faces. <P>SOLUTION: The face has a vertical axis and a horizontal axis. Laterally-elongated conductive dipole elements with a plurality of separate longitudinal distances are mounted on the face. In the case of the present embodiment, the elements contain waveguide elements, reflective elements, and excitation elements, located midway between the waveguide elements and the reflective elements.
