PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display desired information, which is offered by a data broadcast and the like, by one button operation. SOLUTION: A broadcast data registration system includes a remote controller 10 equipped with two or more operation buttons, and a display unit 20 capable of receiving broadcast data. The display unit 20 includes a display unit 25 for displaying user's desired broadcast data according to the operation from the remote controller 10, a control unit 23 for generating a script file based on a series of operation procedures until channel information of indicated broadcast data and broadcast data are displayed, and a memory 24 for storing the generated script file. In the remote controller 10, an operation signal for performing the script file is allotted to one of operation buttons and registered. In the display unit 20, the script file corresponding to the operation signal is read from the memory 24 and performed when the operation button, to which the operation signal is allotted, is operated.
