PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving video recording and reproducing method and so forth applied to, for example, a hard disk recorder for recording television broadcast etc. on hard disc device, and capable of creating a digest file, which covers a plurality of programs, even if the plurality of programs are recorded collectively, while preventing deviation in scenes incorporated in the digest file. SOLUTION: A partition is established at the video content, when a digest file is created from video contents by judgment of the amount of features.
