PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying control method in a grain drying device capable of normally continuing drying work without interruption, even when error happens in any of a plurality of drying machines. SOLUTION: The plurality of drying machines are disposed. Dried grain is charged from a grain carry-in opening of the drying machine of a first stage, and dried to a prescribed finishing moisture value through successive carrying processes from the drying machine of first stage to the drying machine of last stage. The finished dried grain is carried out from a grain carry-out opening of the drying machine of last stage. When error occurs in any of the plurality of drying machines, the processes are changed to dried grain successive carrying processes by the drying machines excluding the drying machine in which error happens, to dry the dried grain to the finishing moisture value. Abnormality of a dried grain carrying system or combustion/sensor systems in each drying machine is detected as the error of the drying machine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
