PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulically driven fan system for avoiding wasteful energy consumption. SOLUTION: In the hydraulically driven fan system, the input shaft of a fan hydraulic pump 26 is connected to the output shafts of an engine and a speed reducer unit 15 via an electromagnetic clutch 27 so that the driving force of the engine and the speed reducer unit 15 is transmitted to or cut off from the input shaft of the fan hydraulic pump 26. In accordance with the temperature of operating oil detected by an oil temperature sensor 31 and the temperature of engine cooling water detected by a water temperature sensor 30, a flow control valve 18b and the electromagnetic clutch 27 are controlled to control the rotation of a blowing fan 17.
