PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor control device for controlling a moving speed of a tread of a control passenger conveyor on the basis of a tread speed setting value corresponding to a determining result, by determining a walking state in the lateral direction to the advancing direction of a passenger. SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor control device has a passenger conveyor device 2 having a passenger conveyor control board 14 controlling the moving speed of the tread 7 on the basis of the tread speed setting value, a camera 3 photographing a landing port of the passenger conveyor device 2, and an analytical control part 4 transmitting the tread speed setting value to the passenger conveyor control board 14. The analytical control part 4 has a first storage means 16 storing a plurality of tread speed setting values, first image acquiring time interval and an ordinary walking determining value, a second storage means 18 storing still picture data, and an arithmetic operation control means 19 transmitting data on the tread speed setting value to the passenger conveyor control board 14, by selecting the tread speed setting value corresponding to the determining result, by determining the walking state of the passenger by analyzing a superimposed image stored in the second storage means 18.
