PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic switching apparatus for a water introduction port for a swing sprinkler which can automatically switch the direction of a water stream, to be introduced, independently of the level of water pressure within the apparatus. SOLUTION: Two extrusion faces are disposed on the upper face of a movable swinging seat 52'. A concave-type enclosing limitation space 523' is limited in the center part. An operating unit 53' has a drive shaft 531' connected to a biasing stick 532' and is moved in cooperation with the biasing stick 532' operated within the enclosing limitation space. According to the above constitution, even when a sprinkler control unit is swung to a set limiting position during water introduction switching operation by a restraining connector, the swing angle of the biasing stick is limited within the enclosing limitation space, whereby the force can be gradually accumulated to instantly beat off the movable swing seat 52' independently of the water pressure level during the operation.
