The sensor has a rotor (1) that is directly coupled to a steering wheel and includes resilient fasteners (2) that are connected with a steering wheel hub. A web is formed in the steering wheel hub, where the web is inserted between the fasteners. The rotor has a flange (5) that forms the resilient fasteners in sections along a periphery of a central opening (6). The fasteners are formed by two bars that are arranged non-parallel to each other. Spaces between the bars are formed by recesses of the rotor flange. The flange and/or the steering wheel hub is formed in a conical shape.
