<p>The protective helmet comprises a rigid or semi-rigid shell (1) consisting of a plurality of interconnected rigid or semi-rigid scales (2, 3, 4, 5) and an internal pressure-deformable cap which is used in the form of a damper and consists of several elements (8, 9, 10, 11) associated to said scales. At least one part of shell constituting scales are movable with respect to each other in the area of the respective connecting means thereof, wherein said internal shell constituting elements connected to the scales are constructed in such a way that they are retractable inside a volume defined by the helmet while the corresponding scales are displaced with respect to each other.</p> |
