A tail pipe for a muffler having a variable length is provided to obtain good appearance of the muffler by integrally forming the tail pipe with a rear bumper. A tail pipe for a muffler having a variable length includes a body and a variable pipe(9). The body has a certain size of space(2). An introduction pipe(3) is fixed to the body. The variable pipe includes a fixing pipe(5), a variable tube(7), and a spring(8). The fixing pipe is fixed to a space of the body. The variable tube is inserted into the fixing pipe to reciprocate along the fixing pipe, and has a plurality of exhaust holes(6) formed at an end of the body. The spring is interposed between the fixing pipe and the variable tube to apply a tension force to the fixing pipe and the variable tube. The guide roller is fixed to a fixing plate.
