An air gap structure in a canister for a vehicle is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and weight, effectively deal with emission, and reduce the size of the air gap structure. An air gap structure in a canister for a vehicle includes an air gap(20) and partition plates(21,22). The air gap is installed in the canister to reduce bleed emission. The partition plates are installed in the air gap to increase the length of the air gap. The air gap is formed at upper and lower parts of the partition plates to vary a path of a hydrocarbon gas. The partition plates have a gap of 5mm and a width of 60mm to provide a space sufficient to flow the air. The partition plates have the height of 70mm and a distance from "a" to "b" of 170mm.
