<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time for a sheet aligning process required when sheet processes such as a stapling process, a punching process and a bookbinding process are applied to sheets between sheet carrying devices connected with each other in the sheet carrying direction, and to prevent misalignment and stacking failure during discharge on a stacking means. <P>SOLUTION: Based on a detection result of an end part of a sheet S in the direction orthogonal to the sheet carrying direction by a sheet posture detecting means 150, positional relationships between a fixation plate 180 and an adjustment plate 190 and a fixation plate 183 and an adjustment plate 192 are adjusted to prevent positional deviation and skew in the direction orthogonal to the sheet carrying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
