METHOD FOR ADJUSTING PH OF ACTIVATED CARBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting pH of activated carbon by which the quantity of water to be used until the pH of the water treated by the activated carbon is stabilized can be reduced.

SOLUTION: The method has a process of analyzing the water quality of raw water for which the activated carbon is used, a process of preparing an acid solution for acid cleaning of the activated carbon based on the result of the analysis, a process of adjusting the pH of the activated carbon by the prepared acid solution, in which the type of the anion included in the raw water is detected in the water quality analysis step and the type of the acid used for the acid solution is preferably determined based on the same.
