PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease useless consumption of a liquid without making a cap structure complicate. SOLUTION: A liquid delivering apparatus is equipped with a liquid delivering head having a plurality of nozzles, and a cap means being brought into contact with the nozzle face of the liquid delivering head and sucking or pressing the liquid in the nozzles. The liquid delivering apparatus is characterized in that in the liquid delivering head, selecting means capable of selecting sucking or pressing of the liquid in the nozzles are provided on every nozzle group made by dividing a plurality of the nozzles into at least two groups.
