摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and a discharge recovery control method by which the recovery treatment during recording can be done properly responding to each grade in which a plurality of nozzles generate discharge defect when recording using the plurality of nozzles with different sizes of discharged ink droplets. SOLUTION: According to the inkjet recording device and the discharge recovery control method, the summation of dot count numbers is constituted by multiplying discharge total numbers of large dots and small dots calculated in each recording mode coefficients together respectively and summing the same, the larger dots contribute the summation of the dot count value the more, the more large dot is discharged the restoring treatment is executed by the faster timing, the discharge defect of the nozzle can be prevented, and just enough restoring treatment can be done, by making the coefficientαby which the total number of the large dot counted in the recording mode of only the large dots multiplied larger than the coefficientδby which the total number of the small dots counted in the recording mode of only the small dots is multiplied in the coefficients.
