<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which complexity of a circuit can be suppressed even when the number of scanning lines increases, and a to provide method of driving the same. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device has: a plurality of scanning lines; a plurality of image signal lines crossing the scanning lines three dimensionally; a light emitting element; a driver element driving the light emitting element; and a switching element, and the image display device is equipped with a plurality of pixel regions arrayed at or nearby regions where the scanning lines and image signal lines cross each other and a plurality of control lines connected to at least one of the driver element and switching element. The plurality of control lines are composed of M kinds (M: an integer not less than 1) of wiring lines classified by supplied signals, and one-end sides of the control lines are bundled together by several wiring lines for each same kind of wiring, bundled wiring lines of the same kinds are electrically connected to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
