<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and an image processor for emphasizing an edge in an accurate level corresponding to the scale of a reduced image. <P>SOLUTION: A tapered filter whose amplification level is gradually increased according as a reduction rate is decreased from 100% is generated, and the tapered filter whose amplification level is the maximum is generated at a reduction rate 50%. Then, the tapered filter whose amplification level is gradually decreased according as the reduction rate is decreased beyond 50% is generated. Then, the emphasis processing of an edge using different tapered filters according to the reduction rate is executed by the generated tapered filter. Therefore, it is possible to form a well-balanced reduction image without inadequate level of edge enhancement in a reduction image after the edge emphasis processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
