<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized current sensor to be used for detecting the magnitude of current and provide a current value computation system having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The current sensor 10 to be used for detecting the magnitude of current is provided with a core 14 provided for the periphery of an electric conductor 12 and two Hall ICs 16A and 16B for detecting the strength of magnetic fields generated in the core 14. The current sensor 10 is arranged in such a way as to strengthen magnetic fields generated by a current flowing through the electric conductor 12. The two Hall ICs 16A and 16B are arranged along the directions of lines of magnetic forces generated in the core 14. Even if the thickness of the core 14 is substantially more thinned than before, it is thereby possible to pass the lines of magnetic forces generated in the core 14 through the two Hall ICs 16A and 16B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
