<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of positioning among a plurality of toner images superposed on an intermediate transfer belt by preventing the slippage of the intermediate transfer belt with respect to a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: When it is defined that a frictional coefficient between a photoreceptor drum 50 and the intermediate transfer belt 64 isμ; initial tension of the intermediate transfer belt 64 is T and the winding angle of the intermediate transfer belt 64 around the photoreceptor drum 50 isθ; a load F(=f1+f2) in a tangential direction which is applied from a secondary transfer roll 80 and a brush roll 86 to the photoreceptor drum 50 via the intermediate transfer belt 64 is set so as to satisfy following expression (1): (1) 2T(e<SP>μθ</SP>-1)/(e<SP>μθ</SP>+1)>F and T≤396.9N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
