摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize motion detection so as not to reduce detection performance while reducing required memory capacitance in motion detection for a three-dimensional YC separation circuit. SOLUTION: A differential (11) between a composite color television signal (VSO) and a delay signal (VS1) thereof is computed, a low frequency component and a frequency component near a color subcarrier frequency are extracted from the differential (12, 13) and these components are combined to generate a motion detecting signal (15). A high-frequency luminance component is then extracted from the composite color television signal (VSO) and a delay signal (VS1, VS1) thereof (14), the high-frequency luminance component being greater as a motion in a signal of each pixel is less or an oblique streak component formed from the detected luminance signal near the color subcarrier frequency is greater, and the motion detecting signal is reduced when the extracted high-frequency luminance component is great.
