MECHANICAL PARKING GARAGE IN BUILDING BASEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking garage constructed in a multistory structure, in the basement high in the story height of a building underground part. SOLUTION: Corridor plates structured to resist and support horizontal force are constructed in at least one layer in a depth position to resist and support horizontal force such as earth pressure and water pressure applied to an underground external wall below the basement floor of a building. The mechanical parking garage is installed in the multistory structure in spaces above and below the corridor plates in arrangement common to the upper and lower spaces. Posts of the mechanical parking garage transmit the tare and movable load of the mechanical parking garage to pressure boards or foundation beams or the like in such a structure as not to burden the corridor plates.
