Bonded foam products are produced by spreading foam flakes on a forwardly moving support layer, electrostatically spraying a reaction mixture on the flakes, and temporarily compressing the sprayed flakes. Used for prodn of bonded foam blocks etc from foam flakes obtd by chopping waste plastic foam, esp polyurethane foam. The electrostatic spraying avoids the displacement of the flakes on the support, and the flakes are sprayed uniformly, so that a uniform products is obtd.
