发明名称 NEW METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS AND LONG-TERM RECORDING AND SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF THE ELECTRICAL ACTIVITY OF THE BRAIN BY THE EVOKED-POTENTIAL METHOD AND WITH THE CAPABILITY OF SIMULTANEOUS MODIFICATIONOF THE BRAIN ACTIVITY BY NEURO-BIO-FEEDBACK
摘要 The invention relates to a new method of electrophysiological recording with 28 û 256 recording channels of the electrical activity of the brain and central nervous system (CNS) after application ofany external stimulus or any internal stimulus, as well as during execution of a wide spectrum of specific tests while in parallel the continuous recording for the appropriate time (up to 24 hours) and the evaluation of the evoked potentials, that is of the P300, CNV, N400, SW waveforms and any otherwaveform, already known or to be discovered in the future, are performed. The recordings will be performed on a representative sample of people from all age groups (from prenatal period to aged men). Purpose of these recordings is the establishment of the temporal and topical (as far as the various brain structures is concerned) successive appearance of the various evoked û potential wave forms, as well as the changes of the morphology thereof in time, during the various stages of growth and development of the various physiological and pathological motor, cognitive and sentimental procedures. The above recordings, in combination with the recordings from representative samples of people with psychic disorders and neurological diseases, willlead to an early diagnosis and treatment, and perharps also in the prevention of the appearance of the psychic disorder or even of the neurological disease. Thus, the new method described herein will be a kind of Pap-test for psychology, psychiatry, and neurology. Also, by the new method, the evaluation of the effect of various psycho-active substances and psychotherapy, as well as the study of the brain function in athletes, pilots and people under surgery with anesthesia, will be posssible. Also, by the new method, the action mechanism of neuro-bio-feedback will be studied, on a representative sample of people from the above groups (except those under anesthesia during surgery), and the differences between those...
