<p>A hand device (1) has a palm section (10) and finger mechanisms (11-15). The palm section (10) is provided with palm projections (101-103) projecting upward from a palm surface area (100) when it is faced upward. A resistance force that opposes force acting from the inside of some or all of the finger mechanisms (11-15) on an object to be grasped can be applied to the object from the projections (101-103).</p>
