<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight equipped with a light source unit using a light-emitting element as a light source, and easily and accurately integrating a resin lens and a resin lens attaching part by welding instead of using conventional insert forming. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of extended projections 536 pinching an optical axis L1 at a back side of a brim part 53 of an outer periphery of a projection lens 52 is provided, a surface contact part 552 corresponding to the brim part 53 is provided at a tip of a lens attaching part 550, a step part 556 engaging with the projections 536 on an axis direction and being a standing wall 556b along inside the projections 536 is provided on an outer peripheral side of the surface contact part 552. The projections 536 and the step part 556 are welded by ultrasonic wave to be contacted the brim part 53 and the surface contact part 552 in a cross direction, the optical axis L1 of the lens and an anteroposterior axis L2 of the lens attaching part are made to be parallel. Ultrasonic welding between the projection 536 and the step part 556 are easy, the stating wall 556b of an inner peripheral side of the step part 556 prevents flow of welding resin to the optical axis L1 side at the time of a welding process, without giving bad influence to light distribution by burr of the welding part, and the burr can not be seen through the projection lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
