<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact imaging apparatus with high performance by using a lens member, where a lens is integrally formed with a lens support part for supporting the lens, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 includes the lens member 10 having the lens 10 and the lens support part 110b for supporting the lens 10, and an image sensor chip 20 for converting incident light from the lens 10 into an imaging signal.
