<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a back light used for a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: This display device has a display panel and a back light arranged behind the display panel. The back light of the display device has a film-like light guide member, a film-like light semitransmission member pasted on the first surface of the light guide member facing the display panel, a film-like reflecting member pasted on the back surface of the first surface of the light guide member and a point light source arranged in a position injecting light from the first surface or a back surface of the light guide member to the light guide member.
