<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an administrator from mistaking failure alarms caused by works for failure alarms requiring countermeasures and from starting unnecessary operations, for example, when works of a network or networked apparatus are ahead of schedule or behind schedule. <P>SOLUTION: An alarm management apparatus 200 is connected to the network and server monitoring apparatus 201. An alarm reception part 212 receives failure alarms 202 detected by the monitoring apparatus 201 at the occurrence of failures, and a work information reading part 213 reads work information 207 about works of networks and servers, which are monitored objects 108.
