<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container (waste toner recovery container) which is capable of freely controlling the flow and amount of powder like toner and is capable of reducing fullness erroneous detection of a powder detection means to contribute to improvement in convenience to users. <P>SOLUTION: A waste toner conveyance means 24 includes an agitating plate 26 moving back and forth in directions of arrows 25, a cam shaft 27, a driving gear 28 fixed to one end part of the cam shaft 27 and connected to a driving source of an image forming apparatus, an eccentric cam 30 provided in the other end part of the cam shaft 27 and stored in a cam reception part 29 formed integrally with the agitating plate 26, etc. The agitating plate 26 is made of synthetic resin into one body and has a plurality of conveyance parts 33A, 33B, 33C...33P which are disposed in different positions on an approximately horizontal plane and are different by toner conveyance amount.
