<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the ratio of flowable particulate adhesion suppressing agent to a toner to be subjected to development is readily averaged for a use period of a developing apparatus, and thereby the adhesion of flowable particulate to an image carrier is suppressed and the generation of a spotted image noise due to the flowable particulates can be suppressed and the occurrence of the trouble, such as the electrostatic charge defect of the toner arising from the excessive increase in the ratio of the flowable particulate adhesion suppressing agent to the toner and the occurrence of fogging, can be suppressed, and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus A or the process cartridge in which the transfer residue on the image carrier 1 is removed by a cleaner 6 and the removed residue is returned to the developing apparatus by a recycling apparatus 8, the flowable particulate adhesion suppressing agent for suppressing the adhesion of the flowable particulate added to the toner of at least one kind selected from a polishing agent and a lubricant is previously held in the recycling apparatus 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
