<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space provided for a sidewise projection from the main body of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a side portion that can be drawn from one side of the main body of the image forming apparatus if the operating part of the main body of the apparatus is regarded as the front; a first moving mechanism for moving the side portion in the sidewise direction of the main body of the apparatus; and a second moving mechanism for moving the side portion, moved by the first moving mechanism, in the forward direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
