<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure suitable for maintaining adjustment ability effectively by preventing a ring-formed incision wound from being restored when recovery of the ocular adjustment ability (presbyopia) is surgically achieved by forming the ring-formed incision wound of a fixed depth at the cornea. <P>SOLUTION: An intracorneal ring 10 indwelt in the ring-formed incision wound of the fixed depth formed at the cornea near a cornea ring part has an inside diameter and a height corresponding to the diameter and the depth of a fixed-depth ring-formed incision wound 11. A notch 12 is formed at one place of the ring form, and the ring 10 has an inverse-triangular cross section and gets thinner toward the deep side of the incision wound, so that the incision wound is prevented from being stuck again or adhering to keep extensibility of the sclera. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
